Biker killed in collision with pick-up truck

A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a pickup truck in Shetland.

The incident involved a red Honda CBF 125 motorbike and a black Mitsubishi Trojan truck on the B9071 at East Burrafirth, near Aith, at about 5pm on Monday.

The 60-year-old male biker was taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick for treatment, but he died on Tuesday.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
