- By ANGUS HOWARTH newsdeskts@scotsman.com

A zoo where a keeper was killed by a tiger will reopen to the public on Friday, the park said.

Rosa King, 33, died at Hamerton Zoo Park in Cambridgeshire on 29 May in what was described as a “freak accident”.

The park has been closed since then but a spokes- man said an inspection by Huntingdonshire District Council, which is responsible for licensing the zoo, has been completed and the zoo will open on Friday.

“This decision has been supported by the family of Rosa King,” the Hamerton Zoo Park spokesman said.

A joint health and safety investigation led by the council and Cambridgeshire Police is ongoing. 0 Rosa King died in what was described as a ‘freak accident’
