Buddies cast eyes over Grant junior

St Mirren are looking at former Norwich midfielder Ray Grant, the son of former Celtic and Scotland midfielder Peter Grant.

The 20-year-old, newly released by the Canaries after one appearance, played for Dagenham & Redbridge on loan for three months last season and he also has one Scotland under-19 cap.
