Market reopens on emotional day

-

People were “moved to tears” as Borough Market opened for business for the first time since the London Bridge terror attack.

The renowned food market was forced to close after eight people were killed and dozens of others injured when three attackers launched a van and knife attack on Saturday 3 June.

Traders, customers and survivors joined together in a minute’s silence yesterday morning as a mark of respect for the victims of the terrorist atrocity.
