Speirs & Jeffrey Appoints new Director
Speirs & Jeffrey is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Drummond as a Director of the firm on 11 May 2017. Adam becomes only the 20th Director/ Partner in the 110 year history of the firm. Adam graduated from the University of St Andrews with an honours degree in business management and then studied for a postgraduate qualification in investment & finance at the University of Strathclyde. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2010 as a graduate trainee, qualified as an Investment Manager in 2012 and was appointed an Investment Director in 2016. His clients range from individuals and families to trusts, pension funds and charitable organisations. Commenting, Executive Chairman Graham Waddell says: ‘This appointment reinforces the stability and growth of the firm. Adam has made a significant contribution to the business since he joined and going forward his input will be invaluable as we continue to develop our business and expand the services we provide to clients’. Speirs & Jeffrey employs around 150 staff at its single office in central Glasgow, with 32 qualified investment managers and an experienced research team of seven.
