Passengers have awarded Edinburgh Trams a near-perfect 99 per cent approval rating

-

This was achieved by the foot soldiers and not the management! If the managers had to do the job for one day there would be total meltdown. – Paraclete I’m not surprised by the results of this survey. The trams have been a wonderful addition to the city, bringing in tourists and revenue, as well as easing congestion. Ignore the miserable naysayers on here. – Talks sense Easing congestion? I suppose if you use the tram all the time you don’t see the congestion and increased pollution, when all the other traffic has to stop as the trams trundles through the city centre at a snail’s pace. Bringing revenue? The trams don’t even pay for themselves, Edinburgh’s taxpayers are footing the bill for the loan , which will take over 20 years to pay off. –RS2 If they are so keen on surveys then let’s have one to see if they should tell the taxpayers how much money it’s making – or not, as the case may be. – Call Me Cynical
