BAT gets some puff from Brexit

Tobacco giant British American Tobacco said that it expects to receive a boost to profits from the Brexit hit pound.

The group, whose main brands include best-sellers Dunhill and Lucky Strike, said that if exchange rates stay the same for the remainder of 2017, half year operating profit will be boosted 13 per cent and to the tune of 7 per cent for the full year.
