Return to Watsonians for Fedo

Scotland Sevens cap Michael Fedo has re-joined Watsonians ahead of the 2017-18 BT Premiership campaign.

The 27-year-old back rower was a member of the famous Bell Baxter High School team that won the Scottish Schools Cup in 2007. That team also included Pete Horne and Chris Fusaro.

Fedo went on to play for Howe of Fife and Watsonians before becoming a core Scotland Sevens player on the World Series circuit for a number of years.

He had a stint playing in Australia before helping Sonians win the Kings of the Sevens title in April and May.

Kyle Whyte, the young prop who appeared for Edinburgh Rugby a couple of times last season before injury, has also joined the Myreside men.

Head coach Steve Lawrie said: “It is great to get these guys on board as we keep building our squad for 2017-18.”
