LEITH AGED MARINERS’ FUND

The Sailors’ Society administer­s the Leith Aged Mariners’ Fund which was set up in 1943 for the benefit of seafarers or their widows belonging to or connected to the port of Leith, who are deemed to be in need of charitable assistance.

Applicatio­ns are invited from those who were born, are resident or who worked from the port of Leith and who are not in receipt of any other pension or grant apart from those provided by the State.
