Woman held after man attacked

A woman has been arrested in connection with an attack on a man in Glasgow.

Police launched an investigation after the alleged incident, which is being treated as attempted murder.

The incident happened in Hathaway Lane, Maryhill about 8.25pm on Saturday.

A police spokesman said: “A 41-year-old woman has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a 30-year-old man in Hathaway Lane.”

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
