Thrilling fightback brings victory for Stirling High
Stirling High School staged a great comeback victory to beat Portobello High School in the final of the Senior 4-6 Scottish Schools’ Championships at Stirling.
The local team were 1-4 down at half-time in the final – but stormed back to win on penalties.
George Heriot’s School took the bronze medal with a 7-1 win over James Gillespie’s High School.
The Stirling squad was: Aithne Lawrence, Alison Mitchell, Lucy Tweedle, James Clafferty, Matthew Dallon and brothers Alexander and Kester Harris.
