Man charged after gun fired towards house

A man has been charged after a firearm was discharged in the direction of a house in Midlothian.

The incident in Woodburn Road, Dalkeith, happened at about 12.10am on Sunday.

No-one was injured and the property does not appear to have been damaged.

A firearm has since been recovered as part of the police investigation.

Police said a 36-year-old man has been charged.
