Kate Moss and Bella Freud join mourners at Pallenberg’s funeral

Kate Moss and Bella Freud joined the family and friends of model Anita Pallenberg at her funeral yesterday.

The former partner of Rolling Stones star Keith Richards, who was once considered a muse for the band, died aged 75 following a long illness.

According to a representa­tive for the family, the private funeral took place in Chichester.

It was a humanist service, attended by Richards and his wife Patti Hansen.

The spokeswoma­n said in a statement: “The funeral of Anita Pallenberg took place 0 Kate Moss was at the private funeral yesterday earlier today in Chichester, UK.

“The private humanist service was attended by close friends and family including her daughter Angela Rich- ards accompanie­d by her partner Graham Whitney, granddaugh­ter Ava, and son Marlon Richards with wife Lucie and children Ella, Orson and Ida. Keith Richards and Patti attended with their two daughters Theodora and Alexandra.

“Leah Wood and her husband Jack, Kate Moss and Bella Freud and also attended the private service. “

Following Pallenberg’s death earlier this month, guitarist Richards described her as “a most remarkable woman,” adding that she was “always in my heart”.

Pallenberg was born in German-occupied Rome in April 1942 and became a model at 16.
