Do the honours: M*A*S*H star Alda awarded degree by Dundee University

Alan Alda, the acclaimed actor best known for his role as Hawkeye Pierce in the 1970s television series, M*A*S*H, has received an honorary degree from Dundee University. The 81-year-old, a six-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner, become a Doctor of Laws in recognition of his career in the entertainment business.
