Law veteran joins Iomart in non-exec directorship

Web hosting and cloud computing firm Iomart has announced the appointment of Richard Masters as a non-executive director.

Masters has more than 30 years’ experience in the legal profession and was managing partner with Mcgrigors until April 2012 when it merged with Pinsent Masons.

After the tie-up and until June 2015, he was head of client operations for Pinsent Masons – a main board executive position – and then held a non-executive role through to May of last year. His appointment at Iomart follows the announcement on 13 June that non-executive Crawford Beveridge was stepping down from the board at the forthcoming AGM.
