Woman, 91, seriously injured in two-car crash

A 91-year-old woman was seriously injured in a twovehicle crash in Callander.

A Dacia Duster collided with a blue Renault Modus which was travelling southbound on Stirling Road at about 4:55pm on Wednesday. The drivers of the two cars, aged 61 and 62, were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police Inspector Andrew Thomson said: “We believe that there were a number of pedestrian­s and other vehicles in the area around the time of the collision and I’m urging them to come forward with any informatio­n that can assist police as soon as possible.”
