Young man hit by taxi near graduation­s

A pedestrian was injured yesterday when a taxi mounted a pavement and hit him.

He is thought to have been with a group of people coming from a graduation ceremony at the Caird Hall in Dundee when the incident happened on the city’s High Street at around 6pm.

The young man’s injuries were not thought to be lifethreat­ening and the driver of the taxi was believed to be uninjured.
