What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A denim jumpsuit. I spotted a fellow stylist at Welovehome sporting it on her Instagram so I nabbed it from La Redoute.

What are you addicted to buying?

Big earrings. It’s got so ridiculous now that people send me links through Twitter or Instagram when they spot a fabulously large tassled pair and I just have to go ahead and buy them.

Best ever bargain?

My biggest triumph has to be my Fifties lace wedding dress with no fewer than nine layers of tulle in the skirt. I got it for £250 from Hope Harlequin in Brighton. It was better than anything I’d tried on in Selfridges’ wedding department.

Who has great style?

Nikki Tibbles, florist and entrepreneur from Wild at Heart.

Name your favourite high street shop.

I’ve always loved Marks and Spencer. They do great pants. For a busy working mum like me I love it that I can nip in for something for tea and buy a piece of cashmere at the same time.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

Any fashion disaster would inevitably involve high heels. I’ve had quite a few accidents and injuries over the years.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

I’ve got an unhealthy collection of striped Breton tops. My favourite places to buy them are Boden, J. Crew and Saint James. But if I see one anywhere I have to pop it into my trolley. n
