What to do if you have a Hotpoint fridge

Hotpoint has urged the public to check the model number on their fridge-freezers.

The company is working with authorities and urging the owners of Hotpoint fridges to call them if they own either a FF175BP or FF175BG model.

The model number is usually found on a bar code on a sticker behind the salad container in the fridge. Those who have a Hotpoint fridgefreezer with either of the concerned model numbers are encouraged to contact the company hotline on 0800 316 3826.

Customers can also visit hotpointservice.co.uk/fridgefreezer for advice and to register their details. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy urge consumers not to overload plugs, examine the condition of their cables ad leads and ensure sockets are not damaged.
