Work on £500m housing scheme to begin soon
Work on a £500 million housing development which it is hoped will transform Inverness and invigorate the Highland economy is due to begin in weeks.
The Hazledene development will feature 1,500 high-quality homes, surrounding a new town centre with retail, leisure and community facilities.
Housing minister Kevin Stewart has announced that construction work will begin in August
The new community at Stratton will be located on the outskirts of Inverness, on land adjoining Inverness Retail Park.
