Overall Sheep interbreed: Champion: Willie & Carole Ingram, Logie Durno, Pitcaple, Inverurie, with a two-crop Charollais ewe by Riverdale Noble, out of a Southam ewe bought for 1800gns.

Sheep interbreed pairs: Champions – Crossing Bluefaced Leicesters: MR Thornborro­w & Sons, Easter Dawyck, Stobo, Peebles, with a two-crop ewe and a tup from Jamie Pirie and Andrew Campbell, Blarnavaid Farm, Drymen. CATTLE

Overall beef interbreed and winner of the Queen’s cup: The Limousin champion from Mike & Melanie Alford, Foxhill Farm, Collumpton, Devon with their 17-month-old heifer, Foxhill Mamamia, a daughter of record-breaking 125,000gns cow, Glenrock Illusion.

Beef cattle team interbreed: The Limousin team, consisting of two heifers from Mike & Melanie Alford, Foxhill Farm, Collumpton, Devon, a cow from D & L Graham, Mains of Burnbank, Blairdrumm­ond, and the bull from Harry Emslie, Kinnockie, Peterhead.

Overall junior beef interbreed: Champion – Jason & Sarah Wareham, Little Tottingwor­th, Heathfield, East Sussex with Lady Silverbell 12th of Gall-way, a 20-month-old Galloway heifer by Lochnagar of Gall-way and out of Silverbell the 6th which lifted the breed’s junior championsh­ip ticket.
