Gordon Wilson, the former leader of the SNP, died at the age of 79. Many took to Twitter to pay tribute to Mr Wilson, who led the party from 1979 until 1990. @Richard_gjs said: “For years he fought for Scotland’s rights & stood tall & all for the right reasons RIP #Gordonwilson.” @Johnswinney observed: “Very sorry to lose Gordon Wilson.
