Wood Group inks longer term on tech agreement

Aberdeen-headquartered Wood Group has extended itscollaborativeagreement with Canadian technology company Librestream Technologies to work on a series of digital initiatives.

The agreement, which was initially signed in November 2015, has been extended for a further 12 months and combines Wood Group’s industry knowledge with Librestream’s mobile video collaboration technology.

Steve Wayman, executive president, strategy and development at Wood Group, said: “We believe innovation is the gateway to increased performance, economic recovery and growth in the oil and gas industry.”

Wood Group operates in more than 40 countries.
