Missionary deal: Great niece donates papers belonging to Dundee woman revered in Africa

Letters, documents and photograph­s that belonged to the pioneering Scottish missionary Minnie Watson on display at the National Library of Scotland after being saved for the nation. The archive had been gathering dust in a cupboard in Dundee for nearly 70 years before the Church of Scotland missionary’s great niece, Paddy Mcfarlane, donated the documents to the Edinburghb­ased library.
