Bunzl boosted by US business

Outsourcing firm Bunzl said revenues were enjoying a boost from new business in the US as it sealed a string of overseas acquisitions.

It said half-year revenues would lift 7 per cent at constant currency, with around 3 per cent to 4 per cent coming from extra work secured in America last year. Boss Frank van Zanten said trading was in line with hopes.
