Robins swoop for £5.3m forward

Bristol City have paid a club record £5.3 million fee to sign Senegal international Famara Diedhiou from French club Angers.

The 24-year-old forward has agreed a four-year deal with the Championship club. “Obviously it’s our record signing, which is amazing,” said boss Lee Johnson. “I’m absolutely delighted.ithinkhe’sgoing to be a huge player for us.”
