Ya Dancer! Glasgow gets ready for all-singing, alldancing multicultural celebration at Mela

Dancers from Siddhendra Kuchipudi Arts Academy in the United States strike a pose ahead of the Glasgow Mela.

The event, which takes place in Kelvingrove Park on Sunday, is Scotland’s largest free multi-cultural festival. This year’s event will feature performers from a number of countries, plus local talent, across three stages as part of the day-long celebration of different cultures.
