Thieves steal lifesaving defibrillator
Thieves have stolen a potentially life-saving piece of kit from a shop in Fife.
A defibrillator was taken from a secure cabinet outside the Co-operative on High Street, Burntisland, at about 2:30am on Monday.
It was first installed by Burntisland First Aid Services Trust in May 2015 after around £850 was raised by the local community.
Constable Pat Devaney, of Kirkcaldy police station, said: “I would urge whoever took it to return it to its rightful place.”
