Koreans caught up in Spidey’s web: Movie fans flock to Seoul for franchise reboot

South Korean fans wear their superhero’s costume for the Spider-man: Homecoming premiere at Yeongdeunpo Times Square in Seoul.

The film’s director Jon Watts and actors Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon were on hand to sign autographs and greet excited fans.

Reviews for the latest instalment of the franchise have been largely positive and Mr Holland – the British actor who plays the web-slinger – has been praised by critics.

Mr Holland, 21, said he had no immediate plans to leave London yet for the lure of Hollywood, despite being lined up for sequels.
