Police treating baby’s death as suspicious
Police yesterday confirmed they are treating the death of a baby girl as suspicious.
Three-week-old Mikayla Haining died on Thursday 8 June after being taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
Detective Inspector Brian Geddes, who is leading the investigation, said: “Following extensive enquiries, we can now confirm that the circumstances surrounding Mikayla Haining’s death are suspicious. Our investigation remains ongoing at this time, as we work towards establishing the full set of circumstances that led to Mikayla’s death.”
ABERDEEN
