Challenging time for Topps Tiles

Topps Tiles has pointed to a cooling housing sector and challenging market conditions as it reported another sales slump.

The group said likefor-like sales fell 4.7 per cent in the third quarter as “weaker macroeconomic conditions” begin to bite. Boss Matthew Williams said trading in the period reflected “a more challenging” environment.
