Man, 27, arrested in stab death investigation

A man has been arrested and is being held in police custody in connection with the death of another man in North Lanarkshire.

Kevin Gallacher, 38, from Wishaw, died following an alleged stabbing in Glencairn Avenue in the town on Tuesday.

Police Scotland said a 27-year-old man is being held in connection with the death.
