#POLLS

A new poll for Yougov said that if the election was held again, Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour could form a majority Government.

@Rachel_swindon

tweeted: “And they call Corbyn unelectable? I’m sure ‘moderate’ MPS will be retweeting this poll like they did when Labour were at 26 per cent.”

@Glenmitchell1 cautioned: “With Labour taking a big poll lead with Yougov it’s important to remember Ed Miliband regularly had big poll leads over David Cameron.”

@Benfolley noted: “Labour are now polling at 46 per cent under Jeremy Corbyn. Highest poll result since February 2002, a year before the Iraq invasion, meaning a 15-year high.”

@Daniel_cousins said: “Everyone getting giddy over a Labour government because of a poll lead. There’s isn’t a General Election anytime soon. Tories will not stand still.”

@Natureofthings7 added: “Face it, we will never know what Trump and Putin said during their meeting. All we can be sure of is that it will not be good for the USA.
