Man, 24, arrested over death in house

An arrest has been made over the death of a man in Port Glasgow.

At around 6:30am on Saturday, Terence Mcgeown, 38, was found injured in a house in the town’s Broadstone Avenue. He was taken to the Inverclyde Royal Hospital where he later died. Police said a 24-yearold man had been arrested and was detained in custody in connection with the death.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
