Three MPS among 90 in hack attack
Three MPS were among those who had their passwords compromised by thecyb er attack on Parliament.
Blackmail fears emerged after hackers tried to break in to the accounts of MPS, peers and their staff by searching for weak passwords.
Officials initially revealed that up to 90 email accounts were undermined by the “sustained and determined” attack on the parliamentary network last month.
The 90 email accounts represented fewer than 1 per cent of the system’s users.
