Moray woman’s sudden death ‘unexplaine­d’

The sudden death of a 63-year-old woman found injured in Moray is being treated as unexplaine­d.

Police officers and the ambulance service were called to the Land Street area of Buckie at about 7:30pm on Sunday after the woman was discovered injured.

She was taken to dr gray’ s Hospital in Elgin, but later died. Officers remain in attendance and inquiries are at an early stage.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and has informatio­n about the woman’s movements has been asked to contact Police Scotland.
