Wood Group secures deal for services to Culzean

Wood Group has been awarded a contract to deliver mechanical and management services for the hook-up and commissioning of the Culzean gas field in a move that will help support scores of jobs.

The Aberdeen-headquarteredenergyservicesgroup said that at peak manning about 200 jobs will be created by the project to support the development in the UK central North Sea, which is expected to begin production in 2019.

Dave Stewart of Wood Group said: “Maersk’s decision to award us this new contract to support them in this significant development reflects their confidence and assurance in our ability to deliver our broad technical solutions safely, efficiently and effectively.”
