Making history: South Asian migration stories take centre stage in city exhibition

A new exhibition tracing the influence and heritage of South Asian communities across the country has been unveiled at the Scotland Streetschoolmuseuminglasgow by Omar Shaikh, project manager of community group Colourful Heritage. The exhibition marks the start of a relationship between Glasgow Museums and the group, which has developed the largest online video archive of the migration stories of people from South Asia to Scotland.
