Record as 13 Scots get World call

A record 13 Scots have been named in the Great Britain squad for the IAAF World Championships in London next month. The announcement brought a tribute from Scottish Athletics performance director Rodger Harkins.

He said: “This comes after many years of hard work and dedication, sacrifice by athletes and families, and strong commitment, guidance and experience from coaches.”
