Man rescued from harbour dies in hospital
A man who was rescued from a harbour in Aberdeenshire has died.
He was pulled from the water at Macduff harbour at about 5pm on Tuesday and was given first aid by paramedics before being flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Police said the man died yesterday morning and his next of kin were aware.
Chief Inspector Neil Mcdonald said: “I would like to take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge efforts of the members of the public, in particular some youngsters, who assisted in rescuing the man.”
