How can it be continued representation when they are no longer members of the UK Government. A case of snouts to the trough, taxpayers money for out-ofwork MPS. – Headloch Do the Tories not have previous form on unelected candidates (non elected) MEPS representing conservative interests in Europe. Both Alex and Tasmina hold EU positions on account of their previous elected positions in the UK parliament. – Reso12 The SNP whine about austerity and it always being Westminster’s fault. Maybe if they stopped this pair of hypocrites pretending they still had a job then there would be more money for those in need. – Call Me Cynical “The Council of Europe is indirectly elected and includes unelected peers.” Funny how they are happy to be part of this assembly, but hate the House of Lords made up in exactly the same manner. Hypocrisy of the highest order! – kmcn
