Statistics agency in monthly GDP move

The Office for National Statistics has announced plans to release UK growth figures on a monthly basis for the first time.

It said the “expanded release schedule” would provide earlier estimates of economic performance “without detracting from the comprehensive coverage of quarterly estimates”.
