New £13 million care home opens its doors
A new £13 million care home has been opened.
West Dumbarton Council has taken possession of the home in Dumbarton, which has been delivered by Cooper Cromar and Hub West Scotland.
The 23,000sq m building occupies the site of the former Crosslet House and offers 84 ensuite bedrooms arranged in sevenbedroom clusters. Project architect Kevin Fitzpatrick said the aim of the project was to create a “less clinical, more domestic and dementia friendly environment”, particularly in the houses, bedrooms and common rooms.
