Performance cars stolen from private garage

Three high-performance cars worth a six-figure sum have been stolen from a private garage in an overnight raid in Aberdeenshire.

The Sierra RS Cosworth vehicles were taken from an address in the Main Street area of Longside, near Peterhead, on the night of Friday into Saturday.

They were parked in a garage beside the house.

Police said they would probably have been towed away or put on the back of a truck, van or lorry.

Police said one of the vehicles has since been recovered.
