Elderly bikers critical after collision with car

Two bikers were taken to hospital after their motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car in the Highlands.

The incident occurred at 4.43pm on Friday on the A9 north of the Dornoch Bridge.

The male rider, 65, and the female pillion passenger, 67, of the motorcycle were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with serious injuries. Their condition is described as critical but stable.
