Investor seeks P&G board role

Activist investor Nelson Peltz is attempting to secure a seat on the board at Procter & Gamble (P&G) as he pushes for faster changes at the consumer products giant.

Peltz’s Trian Fund Management, which owns about £2.5 billion worth of shares in P&G, said it wants to help Procter & Gamble boost its performance.
