All together now: Synchronised swimmers dazzle
Team USA competes in the women team technical final during the synchronised swimming competition at the 2017 Fina World Championships in Budapest. The event, on day five of the championship, was won by Russia, the third gold for the country’s synchronised swimming team. Russia won with a repeat of its successful Rhythms of the City routine which won them gold at the Rio Games last year.
Runners up were China who secured silver and Japan who won bronze. The USA team finished 11th. In other events Britain’s Jack Burnell, who missed out on a medal in Rio following disqualification, finished fourth in the 10k open water race.
