Measures to boost venison farming

A husband-and-wife team that run a cafe in Perthshire are to serve up their story at the latest “Striving For Excellence” inspirational talks series from Perthshire Businesswomen’s Network (PBN). Ali and Bob Abercrombie have invited members and guests to Alibob Café at Cairn O’mohr Winery in Errol on Thursday 27 July. Jane Rennie, PBN chairwoman, commented, stating: “I am sure it will be a very enjoyable session for the PBN audience, and provide a fresh outlook on how to address some of the challenges our members face.” Setting up a venison herd is no longer as “dear” as expected, with the launch of specialist finance for farmers wanting to enter what is a flourishing UK industry.
