Two charged over storage building blaze
Two men have been charged in connection with a wilful fire-raising incident in Aberdeenshire.
It follows a blaze at storage building adjacent to the Social Club in Market Street, Maud, on 27 May.
Police Scotland say the value of damage is estimated to be “a mid-five-figure” sum.
The men, both 33, are to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today.
Detective Sergeant Martyn Thomson said: “The storage building and its contents was destroyed and there was also damage to the Social Club Building.”
