Brush up: Exhibition turns focus on North Sea oil decommissioning
The National Museum of Scotland’s Jessica Rideout admires a painting which is part of the Age of Oil exhibition showcasing the work of visual artist Sue Jane Taylor.
Taylor, who has worked in some of the most remote and challenging industrial environments across Scotland, presents engineering in an intricate yet accessible way, depicting the human stories behind the economic facts and figures which often surround these industries.
The Edinburgh exhibition features 17 pieces of original artwork which focus on the North Sea decommissioning programmes.
